ST. INIGOES, Md. – A 45 year-old man was shot in the back while viewing a home for sale on Bramble Way in St. Inigoes on Sunday, October 4, 2020.
At approximately 1:15 p.m.the realtor called 911 to report the man was struck by gunfire. St. Mary’s County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to the scene.
EMS Crews from the Ridge Volunteer Fire Department and EMS were also on the scene.
EMS personnel took the victim to a landing area and transferred him to a Maryland State Police medevac helicopter Trooper 7.
The victim was transported to a hospital.
According to a witnesses statement from the scene they reported subjects shooting skeet targets in a field nearby.
The incident is still under investigation.
