Mitchellville, MD (May 16, 2011) – Today, Lt. Governor Anthony G. Brown and Karmen Bailey Walker issued the following statement announcing their engagement:
“It brings us great joy to announce to our friends, family, and neighbors that we are engaged to be married. Our love and respect for each other have grown stronger each day of our relationship and we are so very excited to be taking this next step together. We are planning our wedding for the summer of 2012 when we look forward to celebrating the occasion with all of our friends and family.”
Lt. Governor Brown lives in Mitchellville with his daughter Rebecca (16) and son Jonathan (10). Ms. Bailey Walker lives in Hughesville with her son Anthony (11) from a previous marriage.
