Walden has received a grant for $10,000 from CareFirst BlueCross BlueShield (CareFirst) to

provide general operating support for the organizationโ€™s Crisis and Trauma/Mental Health

Program. The CareFirst grant will help support Waldenโ€™s 24-hour crisis hotline and suffering

victims of domestic violence and sexual assault. To date, CareFirst has contributed $30,000 to

Waldenโ€™s program initiatives.
