Failed burglary leaves restaurant with $1,000 in damages

HUNTINGTOWN, Md. – On Jan. 16, Deputy Sampson responded to China King Restaurant, Huntingtown for the report of an attempted burglary.

The victim stated that sometime between Jan. 15 at 10:30 p.m. and Jan. 16 at 8:00 a.m., an unknown suspect(s) attempted to break the glass to the front door in order to gain entry into the restaurant. The suspect(s) were unsuccessful and no items were taken from the restaurant.
