Indian Head, MD – Charles County fire and rescue officials reported a single vehicle crash occurred late Saturday night on Hawthorne Road. According to the Potomac Heights Volunteer Fire Department, the vehicle struck a tree and split in half. Three people in the vehicle were transported to a local hospital with injuries. None of the injuries sustained are believed to be life-threatening.
No names have been released and the crash remains under investigation.
