CHESAPEAKE BEACH, Md. — The Twin Beaches Community Health Coalition, in partnership with the Towns of Chesapeake Beach and North Beach, is inviting the community to test their strength, endurance, and teamwork at the inaugural Red, White and Warrior Challenge on Saturday, August 8, from 12:00 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. at Kellam’s Field in Chesapeake Beach.

The Red, White and Warrior Challenge is a two-person team obstacle course competition designed to promote physical fitness, teamwork, and community spirit while raising funds for American Legion Stallings-Williams Post 206, supporting local veterans.

Held as part of the Uplift Calvert Wellness Festival, the event reflects the Coalition’s mission of bringing residents together through programs that encourage healthy living, mental wellness, and community engagement.

“The Festival and Challenge both represent the values that make our community stronger,” said Anthony Greene, Chesapeake Beach Councilman and Chair of the Twin Beaches Community Health Coalition. “This event combines mental wellness, fitness, service, and communal support while respecting and honoring the sacrifices of our veterans. We invite everyone to participate, cheer on the competitors, and support a great cause.”

Teams of two will navigate a fun but challenging obstacle course designed to test strength, endurance, coordination, and cooperation. Registration is $50 per two-person team, with 100 percent of proceeds benefiting American Legion Stallings-Williams Post 206.
