LEONARDTOWN, Md. – On March 16, 2019, Cpl. Beishline responded to the 46800 block of Rogers Drive in Lexington Park, for the reported disturbance.
Cpl. Beishline arrived on scene and separated the parties and attempted to conduct an investigation, however Valerie Yvonne Wynette Gross, age 46 of Lexington Park, became disorderly and assaulted the victim in the presence of Cpl. Beishline. Cpl. Beishline attempted to take Gross into custody, however she resisted arrest, and fought being placed in handcuffs.
Gross was ultimately arrested and was found to have a CDS smoking device containing suspected cocaine on her person inside a cigarette pack. Gross was charged with Assault 2nd Degree, Resist Arrest, CDS: Possess-Not Marijuana, CDS: Possess-Paraphernalia. CASE# 15763-19
