
LEONARDTOWN, Md. — St. Mary’s County Recreation and Parks, in partnership with St. Mary’s County Public Schools, is offering a Girls Youth Lacrosse Camp this summer at Leonardtown High School for young athletes entering grades 3 through 9.
The four-day camp, hosted by the Leonardtown Raiders program, will run July 27 through July 30, 2026, from 8 a.m. to noon at Leonardtown High School.
According to organizers, the camp is designed for players of all skill levels, ranging from beginners to advanced athletes, and will focus on developing stick skills, passing, shooting, defensive techniques, and team play.
Participants will work directly with area high school coaches and players while taking part in drills, scrimmages, and team-building activities intended to improve confidence and foster a positive learning environment.
The camp is open to girls ages 7 to 14. Registration costs $150 for St. Mary’s County residents and $155 for non-residents. Organizers said space is limited, with a minimum of 10 participants and a maximum of 60.
The camp will be held on the turf field at Leonardtown High School, located at 23995 Point Lookout Road in Leonardtown.
