UPDATE from Prince George’s Police Department Friday, March 15
Upper Marlboro, MD – Five suspects are in custody for the weekend murder of a 16 year old from Fairfax County, Virginia. The victim is Jacson Pineda-Chicas of Parkwood Court in Falls Church.
On Saturday morning, March 9, at approximately 5:00 am, a Stafford County Sheriffโs deputy located the teenโs body in a remote, grassy area. During the course of the investigation this week, investigators determined the teen was killed inside of a home in the 7000 block of Varnum Street in Landover Hills before his body was driven to Stafford County.
The suspects are 29-year-old Jose Ordonez-Zometa of the 7000 block of Varnum Street in Landover Hills, 20-year-old Jonathan Castillo-Rivera of the 4000 block of America Drive in Annandale, VA, 18-year-old Kevin Rodriguez-Flores of no fixed address, 16-year-old Christian Martinez-Ramirez of the 2000 block of Dover Lane in Falls Church and 25-year-old Jose Hernandez-Garcia of no fixed address. All of the suspects are charged as adults. Ordonez-Zometa is in the custody of the Prince Georgeโs County Department of Corrections. The four remaining suspects are in custody in Virginia.
The preliminary investigation reveals the victim and the suspects are members of a MS-13 clique that operates in Fairfax County, Virginia.ย On March 8th, the victim and several members traveled to Prince Georgeโs County to attend a meeting at the home of the cliqueโs leader. At that meeting, for reasons which are under investigation, there was a confrontation during which the 16 year old was attacked and killed. All suspects are being charged with first degree murder and other related charges.

Stafford, VA – Police in Virginia have determined that the body found last weekend near the Rappahannock River is that of a male who was murdered in Prince Georgeโs County, MD.
According to Stafford County Sheriffโs Office spokeswoman Amanda Vicinanzo, โon Saturday, March 9, at approximately 4:50 a.m., a deputy with the Stafford County Sheriffโs Office was driving down River Road when he observed an unknown object in the area between the road and the Rappahannock River. He exited his vehicle and realized upon closer inspection that the object was the body of a male subject. He also observed signs of trauma to the body.โ
Vicinanzo stated in a press release that Stafford County detectives later released a photo of a distinctive tattoo on the victimโs left forearm. Tips received from the public in response to that photo directly led to the identification of the victim. The victim was identified as a 16-year-old male subject from Fairfax, VA. Prince George’s County Police reported he victim is Jacson Chicas of Falls Church, VA. Detectives have determined that the homicide occurred in Prince Georgeโs and that the body was transported to Stafford County.
โStafford detectives have been working around the clock to resolve this case in collaboration with our law enforcement partners in the Washington metropolitan area including the Prince Georgeโs County Police Department in Maryland, Spotsylvania County Sheriffโs Office, Fairfax County Police Department, and state and federal authorities,โ Vicinanzo stated. โWe would also like to thank the public for their assistance during the investigation. The homicide remains under active investigation.โ
