LEONARDTOWN, Md. – On December 5, 2018, DFC. Steinbach conducted a traffic stop in the 23100 block of Hollywood Road in Leonardtown, regarding a theft investigation.
The vehicle was being operated by Michael Shane Swales, age 46 of Hollywood. Swales was operating the vehicle on a suspended and revoked license and during the traffic stop two baggies containing suspected cocaine were located, as well as a metal smoking device, and several syringes containing suspected cocaine residue.
Swales was arrested and charged with CDS Possession-Not Marijuana and CDS Possession-Paraphernalia, as well as numerous traffic charges. CASE# 65714-18
