Police Say Woman Goes on Spending Spree With Another’s Checkbook

At 11 a.m. April 13, TFC R. Rezza of the Leonardtown trooper barrack was contacted by a victim, who said that several checks had been stolen from his check book.

Investigation revealed that Jamie Lynn Parady, 23, of Lexington Park, had taken the stolen checks and made purchases at several different businesses.

At 1:15 a.m. April 16, TFC R. Rezza arrested Jamie Lynn Parady, 23, of Lexington Park, on an Arrest Warrant for Forgery (5 counts), Theft (7 counts) and Uttering a False Document (5 counts) charges.

Parady was taken to the St. Mary’s County Detention Center and held pending a bail review.
