On Aug. 8, at 4:16 p.m., Regina Charlotte Bonds, 45 of Lexington Park, was arrested by TFC R. Rezza for theft under $500.00.
TFC Rezza responded to the Belk Department Store in California for the reported theft in progress. Upon arrival, contact was made with the female complainant, the Loss Prevention Manger, who had Bonds detained in the Loss Prevention office.
The complainant advised she had observed Bonds remove several pieces of jewelry and hide them on her person and attempted to leave the store after paying for other merchandise. Bonds attempted to steal four pairs of earrings, one bracelet and three necklaces with a total value of $234.98.
Bonds was taken into custody and transported to the St. Mary’s County Detention Center where she was detained pending a bond review.
