Hiding Marijuana Under the Spare Tire Doesn’t Work

At 11:28 p.m. Jan. 7, TFC A. Rossignol observed a vehicle being operated on Fox Chase Drive, Great Mills, without a functional tag light.

During contact with the driver, James Brian Sheehan, 18, of Callaway, an odor of burnt marijuana was detected. A probable cause search revealed a bag of marijuana under the spare tire.

Sheehan was arrested and charged with Possession of Marijuana and Possession of CDS Paraphernalia. He was taken to the St. Mary’s County Detention Center and held pending a bail review.
