ย At 1 p.m. Feb. 21, Sanjah Leah Hunt, 23, of Mechanicsville was arrested by TFC T. Quade on south bound Route 235 in Lexington Park.

ย Hunt was operating a silver Honda Accord when she was observed exceeding the posted speed limit.ย  During the course of the traffic stop, contact was made with the driver, Hunt, and a strong odor of burnt marijuana was emitting from the vehicle.

ย Hunt was found to be in possession of a corn cob CDS smoking device and a small baggie of marijuana.ย  She was transported to the St. Maryโ€™s County Detention Center where she was held pending a bond review.

ย At 10:04 a.m. Feb. 21, Christopher Michael Kemp, 25, of Leonardtown was arrested by TFC L. Nims for possession of Marijuana and possession of CDS paraphernalia.

ย Kemp was operating a red Chevrolet Astro-van when he was stopped for not being restrained by his seatbelt on Route 5 at Route 245 in Leonardtown.ย  During the course of the traffic stop, TFC Nims made contact with the driver, Kemp, and an odor of marijuana was emitting from the vehicle.

ย Kemp was found to be in possession of Marijuana and CDS paraphernalia.ย  Mr. Kemp was transported to the St. Maryโ€™s County Detention Center where he was detained pending a bond review.

ย At 9:43 a.m. Feb. 22, Mary Lee Little, 43 of Lexington Park was arrested by TFC L. Nims for possession of CDS (prescription medications not prescribed to her).

ย Little was operating a silver Chevrolet Blazer when she was stopped on Route 235 at Airport View Drive in Hollywood for failing to drive in a single lane.

ย Little was arrested for DWI.ย  A routine check through NCIC revealed she had an outstanding warrant through the Calvert County Sheriffโ€™s Office.

ย A search of vehicle incident to the arrest revealed Little was also in possession of pill bottle containing Ephedrine. Little was taken into custody and transported to the St. Maryโ€™s County Detention Center where she was held pending a bond review.

ย At 9:37 p.m. Feb. 23, Jeremy Michael Carr, 20, of Mechanicsville was arrested by TFC P. Trossbach for possession of Marijuana.

ย Carr was stopped while operating a black Chevrolet Blazer on Mechanicsville Road in the area of the Moose Lodge in Mechanicsville for exceeding the posted speed limit.

ย During the course of the traffic stop, contact was made with the driver, Carr, and a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage was emitting from the vehicle and his breath.ย  Mr. Carr was subsequently arrested for DWI.

ย An odor of burnt marijuana was also present in the vehicle.ย  A search incident to the arrest revealed Carr was in possession of a baggie of Marijuana.ย  A routine check of MVA revealed his driving privileges were suspended in Maryland.ย  Carr was transported to the St. Maryโ€™s County Detention Center where he was detained pending a bond review.
