At approximately 4 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 6, the Huntingtown Volunteer Fire Department and Rescue Squad had a report of an auto accident with three persons trapped in Huntingtown.
Chief 6, Squad 6, Ambulances 68 and 69 and Engine 62 from Huntingtown, Ambulance 48 from Prince Frederick and Squad 5 from Dunkirk responded on the call.
When emergency responders arrived they discovered a single vehicle accident with a car crashed against a tree. Two people were trapped and a third was not. After extricating the entrapped patients, ambulance 48 transported one patient to Calvert Memorial Hospital and two thirteen year old teens were flown to Childrenโs Hospital on Trooper 7.
The Calvert County Sheriffโs Department is investigating this accident.
