
LEONARDTOWN, Md. — All three incumbent members of the Leonardtown Town Council were re-elected Tuesday, May 5, 2026, maintaining the current makeup of the board.
A total of 305 votes were cast, including 280 in-person ballots and 25 absentee ballots.
Mary Maday Slade received the highest number of votes with 244, followed by Christy Hollander with 202 and Heather M. Earhart with 188. The three were seeking re-election to seats with terms expiring in 2026 and will now serve new four-year terms through 2030.
Also on the ballot were Rodney Flowers, who received 128 votes, and Ken Held, who received 93 votes.
Polls were open from 12 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Town Hall.

Thankful. The men in that town have done absolutely nothing to improve it. All they do is drink and fish. The ladies will take it from here. Your town has potential, and that’s coming from someone who has lived in Belltown, Seattle. I know.
