My name is Crystal and I would like to tell you a little bit about my Mother.

My Mom’s name is Cathy and she has 3 kids, my brother is the oldest and then me and then my sister.

When we were younger my mom and dad got a divorce due to many problem’s and there was times my Mom had to work 3 jobs to take care of us, and I had to basically raise my little sister.

When times got tough she never gave up and always made sure we had everything we wanted and needed, at times yeah it was hard but she always came through. My Mom has gave me hope when raising my little girl who will be 5 in October and me being a young mom, my mother stood by me and helped anyway she could.

Now my mother helps me with my daughter when I have to work. She also works full time and takes care of my grandparents ( her mother and father ). My grandmother and Grandfather have medical problems which requires someone to give them shots everyday and feed them and make sure they eat and my mom works around there schedule so she can take care of them also.

Out of 6 kids on my Mom’s side she is the only one who was willing to take care of her parents, none of the other kids had time, and my Mother made the time.

I feel My Mom has no time for herself because she is always worried about others. It would be so great for her to win a dinner out, which she probably hasn’t had in years due to the situation with her parents.

Two years ago when I was struck by a drunk driver and my mother was in the vehicle with me, my daughter was seriously injured and the whole time I was at children’s hospital my Mom was by my side to assure me everything would be ok, even being there she was not paid from her job and it really put her at hard times but she never left me or my daughter there the whole time.

There is nothing in this world my Mom would not do for me or anyone if she could, not only is she a great Mom she is a wonderful “Me-Mom” which my daughter calls her. My daughter loves her Me-Mom more than anything.
