At 1:24 p.m. on Feb. 26 Charles County Sheriff’s Officer D.L. Behm was conducting a foot patrol in the 300 block of Goose Creek Drive in La Plata when he observed a group of males and smelled the odor of marijuana.
Investigation revealed Nico Matthew Adams, 18, of La Plata was smoking marijuana and in possession of drug paraphernalia.
He was arrested and charged with possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was being held at the Charles County Detention Center pending an appearance before the district court commissioner.
