Presentations to be held ahead of September 9 public hearing
The St. Mary’s County Department of Land Use and Growth Management will host two additional open houses to discuss the proposed draft update of the Lexington Park Development District master plan.
The second open house will take place on Wednesday, August 7, at the Bay District Volunteer Fire Department public meeting room, located at 46900 South Shangri-La Drive in Lexington Park. The open house will occur from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.
A third open house has tentatively been scheduled for Wednesday, August 28, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Greenview Knolls Elementary School, located at 45711 Military Lane (off of Chancellor’s Run Road).
The department is hosting an initial open house tonight, July 24, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., at the Lexington Park Library. The general public is invited to attend all open houses.
The Planning Commission has scheduled a public hearing during its September 9, 2013 meeting at 6:30 p.m. The public is encouraged to prepare for and attend the hearing.
