ADVISORY: Shooting Reported In Lexington Park; Victim Taken To Hospital

UPDATE: The ambulance that was en route to MedStar St. Mary’s was diverted to Capital Regional Trauma Center.

LEXINGTON PARK, Md. — We are receiving reports of a shooting that occured earlier this evening that has sent one person to the hospital.

At approximately 11:04 p.m. on September 15, first responders were alerted to a shooting/stabbing in the area of Victoria Circle in Lexington Park.

Upon arrival, crews discovered a female victim who had been shot. She would be transported to MedStar St. Mary’s Hospital for additional treatment. One other person on the scene suffered minor injuries but refused any additional treatment.
