Altercation In Lexington Park Leads To Man Struck By Car, Another Woman Pepper Sprayed

LEXINGTON PARK, Md. — At approximately 6:53 a.m. on July 5, first responders were dispatched to the scene of a reported pedestrian involved accident in the 21000 block of North Shangri La Drive near the Donut Connection and Popeyes. Upon arrival, crews had discovered that a pedestrian had been hit. But the circumstances surrounding the incident are still unclear.

What led the suspect to take these actions is still unknown. We do not currently know the status of any injuries at this time, but nobody has been transported to the hospital at this time.

Reports indicate that a woman had to wash her eyes out with milk following the incident, and was assisted by a female officer.

The St. Mary’s County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the incident at this time.
