PASADENA, Md. — A 52-year-old Annapolis man is facing multiple charges after allegedly assaulting a convenience store manager with a knife and damaging property early Friday morning.
Officers responded to the Dash-In at 8078 Ritchie Highway in Pasadena around 2:40 a.m. on January 31, 2025, after receiving reports of an assault in progress. Police say the suspect, identified as Peter Brady O’Neill, was acting disorderly inside the store and caused property damage before being asked to leave by the manager.
Once outside, O’Neill continued his disruptive behavior, prompting the manager to confront him, authorities said. During the confrontation, O’Neill allegedly charged at the manager while swinging a large knife, before fleeing the scene on foot.
Responding officers quickly canvassed the area and located O’Neill nearby. He was taken into custody without further incident.
A subsequent investigation revealed O’Neill had an outstanding warrant from October 17, 2024, for two counts of malicious destruction of property—one for damage valued under $1,000 and another exceeding $1,000.
O’Neill has been charged with assault and property damage related to the Dash-In incident and is currently being held without bond.
