
ANNAPOLIS, Md. – In June 2024, the Anne Arundel County Police began implementing its Automated Traffic Enforcement Speed Program by installing portable camera units at five school zones with a 15-day warning period. On July 24, 2024, five additional automated enforcement speed cameras were added and became active after a 15-day warning period.
Five new camera locations will be added to the program between October 1, 2024, and October 2, 2024, and will become active after a 15-day warning period. The new cameras will be located within the following school zones:
- Pasadena Elementary – Pasadena Road
- Millersville  Elementary – Millersville Road
- Quarterfield  Elementary – Quarterfield Road
- Monarch Academy – Brock Bridge Road
- Solley  Elementary – Solley  Road *
* The existing camera will be moved from the northbound side of Solley Road to the southbound side.
