Annual walk enters 13th year in the fight against breast cancer

INDIAN HEAD, Md. –  The 13th Annual Breast Cancer Awareness Fitness Walk takes place on Saturday, October 6, from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.

The walk starts at the Indian Head Village Green at 100 Walter Thomas Rd, Indian Head [map], and continue on a three-mile walk on the Indian Head Rail Trail. 

Activities include a DJ, a fun exercise warm-up, vendors, as well as door prizes and raffles The entrance fee is $25 and includes your morning snacks, door prize ticket, bottled water, and a delicious and healthy lunch. Proceeds benefit the Sisters at Heart, Charles County’s Breast Cancer Support Group.
