St. Mary’s City, MD — Chesapeake Bay Running Clubโ€™s 19th annual Thanksgiving walk/run was held Saturday, Nov. 21 at Historic St. Maryโ€™s City. All proceeds went to Special Olympics St. Maryโ€™s County.

The event featured a timed 5k race and a Prediction 5k on a mostly level course through scenic c St. Maryโ€™s City. Long-sleeved T-Shirts were awarded to the first 100 paid participants! Participants of the Prediction 5K were required to predict their finishing time at the race day number pick-up and were not be allowed to wear a watch. Walkers were invited to participate in either event and were scored along with the runners. Strollers were welcomed and well behaved dogs allowed on leashes.
