At approximately 9 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 10, fire and rescue units responded to an accident in the southbound lanes of Route 235 at the dangerous intersection of Loveville Rd. in Oakville for an overturned vehicle or rollover.
When first responders arrived, there were two people still in the vehicle, which was on all four wheels. Units had to extract one victim by popping open a damaged door.
Once out of the vehicle, one victim was transported to St. Mary’s Hospital and the other refused service. Police are still investigating the cause of this accident. There are preliminary reports that the accident was caused by a black Ford F-150 pick-up truck with Oklahoma tags.
