At 7:46 p.m. on Jan. 18, Charles County Sheriff’s officers responded to Plaza Liquors located at 3215 Plaza Way in Waldorf for the report of an armed robbery.
Investigation revealed the suspect entered the business, brandished a handgun, robbed the owner of an undisclosed amount of money and fled the scene on foot.
Officers and a K9 team searched the area but were unable to locate the suspect.
The suspect was wearing dark clothing and a mask. The owner, a 39-year-old Waldorf man, was not injured.
