Charles County Sheriff’s detectives assigned to the Criminal Investigations Division are seeking the identity of a man wanted for robbery and assault.
On March 28 at 3:12 p.m., the suspect entered an electronics store in the 3300 block of Crain Highway in Waldorf and stole several headsets. He fled from the store after an employee confronted him. The suspect threw some of the stolen headsets at the employee and then ran inside a nearby store.
The employee and a friend followed the suspect and tried to get the remaining headsets. There was a brief altercation during which the suspect showed a knife. The suspect fled, but he ran back to the electronics store where he stole more headsets. This time, he was able to escape in a vehicle– possibly a blue minivan.
