On December 9, 2013, detectives from the Criminal Investigations Division received information from the Liberty County Sheriff’s Office in Liberty, Texas that a suspect, wanted in connection with a Felony Aggravated Sexual Assault of a Child in their jurisdiction, may be residing in St. Mary’s County, Maryland.
Detectives were able to determine where the suspect was residing and responded to a residence in California, Maryland where they located and arrested Felix Alexandro Pinto, Jr., age 26, of California, Maryland.
Pinto, Jr. was taken into custody without incident and transported to the St. Mary’s County Detention Center where he was charged with being a Fugitive from Justice – Texas and incarcerated under no bond pending an extradition hearing.
