Great Mills, MD – On November 18th, Sgt. C. Safford observed the suspect, Antonio Wendell Chase, age 29, of Lexington Park, enter the driver’s seat of a vehicle parked in the Family Dollar parking lot, located at 21703 Great Mills Road in Great Mills.
A traffic stop was conducted on Chase, at which time Sgt. Safford observed Chase toss a plastic baggie with a knot under the car, believed to be marijuana. A search of the vehicle revealed a clear baggie in a purse on the passenger seat. In the bag was a substance believed to be crack cocaine.
Chase was arrested and transported to the St. Mary’s County Detention Center. He was charged with Possession: Not Marijuana – Crack Cocaine.
