Sheriff’s Office Deputies responded to the report of the “suicidal subject” at a Lexington Park residence. Upon arrival the suspect had self-inflicted injuries to his arm. When confronted by police he surrendered and was immediately provided medical treatment.
In an attempt to recover the weapon used, Deputy Kevin Meyer observed a marijuana smoking device, in plain view, inside the suspect’s room. The suspect (21 year old of Lexington Park) was transported to St. Mary’s Hospital where he was treated for his minor injuries and mental health condition.
Charges will be applied for related to the marijuana smoking device. Due to the nature of the incident, the suspects name will not be released.
