LEXINGTON PARK, Md. — A Lexington Park woman was arrested on an outstanding warrant after deputies allegedly found a glass smoking device containing suspected crack cocaine residue inside a sling bag she was carrying.
Bonnie Kristine Phillips, 43, of Lexington Park, was charged July 10, 2026, with possession of a controlled dangerous substance other than cannabis and possession of drug paraphernalia.
According to charging documents, a deputy with the St. Mary’s County Sheriff’s Office responded at approximately 12:05 p.m. to PNC Bank in the 22600 block of Three Notch Road in Lexington Park to serve an unrelated warrant.
Phillips was located outside the bank and taken into custody.
During a search following the arrest, deputies allegedly found a glass smoking device inside the rear pocket of a black Reebok sling bag draped across Phillips’ chest.
The device reportedly contained burned residue suspected to be crack cocaine.
Phillips was transported to the St. Mary’s County Detention and Rehabilitation Center and later released on her own recognizance.
A trial is scheduled for Aug. 10, 2026, in St. Mary’s County District Court.
