The Mayweather vs Conor McGregor card is beginning to take shape.

Mayweather and McGregor, the two biggest names in combat sports, will take part in a multi-million-pound boxing match on August 26.

The contest, which has divided opinion in the sporting world, will take place at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Mayweather’s fiftieth professional fight, his first in nearly two years, is expected to shatter the pay-per-view buy record set by his 2015 ‘Fight of the Century’ with Manny Pacquiao.

And with the addition of his protege Gervonta Davis to the card, it could very well do so.
Davis revealed that he’d be fighting on the undercard of the event in an interview with TMZ on Thursday afternoon.

“Yes,โ€ he said when asked if heโ€™d be fighting at the historic event. โ€œIโ€™m the co-main event.”

โ€œIt feels great,โ€™ he added. โ€œJust having my hometown back me, Under Armour back me and Floyd back me and Iโ€™m on the undercard, it feels amazing.โ€
Davis then went on to reveal that he currently doesnโ€™t have an opponent booked for the event.

โ€œThere are a few names that theyโ€™ve mentioned. And I believe that both of them will get knocked out.โ€

The Baltimore native was then quizzed about the prospect of fighting McGregor.
And he wasnโ€™t shy about expressing his belief that heโ€™d wipe the floor with Irelandโ€™s first UFC belt holder.

โ€œI would knock him out,โ€ he said.
