Leonardtown, MD — Fans of marching bands will want to check out the Battle at Breton, a marching band competition to benefit the Leonardtown High School Band Boosters.
Thirteen area high school marching bands will compete and be evaluated by judges from US Bands.
Arundel High School, Calvert High School, Chopticon High School, Falls Church High School, Great Mills High School, La Plata High School, Loudoun County High School, Northern High School, Patuxent High School, Severna Park High School, Thomas Stone High School, Thomas S. Wootton High School, and Leonardtown High School will do musical battle on Saturday October 5th at Leonardtown High School.
Gates open at 3 p.m. and the first band performs at 3:50 p.m.
Admission is $12 for adults and SMCPS staff, $5 for students K-12, and free to children younger than 5 accompanied by a paying adult. Each family will receive a program (while supplies last)
Refreshments will be available for purchase during the event.
