ย On Friday, HB 351 was introduced on behalf of Marylandโ€™s homosexual and transgender community.
To keep it simple, this bill will allow same sex couples to marry in Maryland, said Del. Don Dwyer, sponsor of the bill.

ย โ€œBecause we are sent to Annapolis to represent the citizens of Maryland, the homosexual community should demand that the bill sponsors petition their bill to the floor for a vote,โ€ Dwyer said during an interview Friday.

ย Delegate Dwyer plans to introduce a Constitutional Marriage Amendment to counter the homosexual proposal. He is also carrying a petition to see that his Marriage Amendment is voted before the full House of Delegates.

ย Dan Fermanski of Equality Maryland owes it to the homosexual community to demand a floor petition on HB 351, Dwyer said.
