CDS Violation: 26-63970
On July 26, 2026, DFC Parks responded to the area of The Arc of Southern Maryland, located at 355 W. Dares Beach Road in Prince Frederick, for the report of a disorderly individual. Multiple callers reported a man lying in the roadway, moaning, throwing objects, and attempting to strike passing vehicles. Deputies identified the individual as David Smith Foard, 56, of Hughesville. During the investigation, deputies observed tree branches, a tire, a gas can, and a wooden sign placed in the roadway. Foard admitted he had placed the items there to slow traffic. Foard was arrested and transported to the Calvert County Detention Center. During a secondary search at the detention center, deputies recovered 49 Alprazolam pills on his person. Foard was charged with Disorderly Conduct, Possession of Contraband in a Place of Confinement, and CDS: Possession – Not Cannabis.
Disorderly Conduct: 26-64047
On July 30, 2026, DFC Hendrickson responded to the Holiday Inn, located at 355 Merrimac Court in Prince Frederick, for the report of a disorderly subject. The complainant advised that an individual was causing a disturbance by running through the business, yelling, and coming at the front desk employee. Witnesses described the individual’s behavior as disruptive and alarming, making guests feel uncomfortable. Deputies made contact with Brandon McNeil Robinson, 20, of no fixed address, who had previously been trespassed from the property. Robinson was arrested and transported to the Calvert County Detention Center, where he was charged with Disorderly Conduct and Trespassing on Private Property.
Reckless Endangerment: 26-63329
On July 23, 2026, at approximately 6:00 p.m., DFC Newton responded to the 6100 block of Stephen Reid Road in Huntingtown, for the report of a person with a weapon. Multiple callers reported hearing numerous gunshots after observing Steven William Johnson, 74 of Huntingtown, yelling outside his residence. Upon arrival, deputies encountered Johnson armed with a Bowie knife. Johnson was taken into custody without incident. Deputies recovered three additional concealed knives from his person. The investigation revealed multiple witnesses heard gunshots coming from Johnson’s property, and surveillance video captured Johnson yelling immediately before several gunshots were heard. A subsequent search of the property located spent shell casings beneath the rear deck, corroborating witness statements and video evidence. Johnson, who admitted to consuming alcohol, was arrested and transported to the Calvert County Detention Center, where he was charged with Reckless Endangerment and Disorderly Conduct.
Theft: 26-62721
On July 21, 2026, at approximately 1:56 p.m., Deputy Angell responded to the 800 block of Prince Frederick Boulevard in Prince Frederick for a report of an individual tampering with motor vehicles. Investigation revealed a male identified as Trevon Maurice Thompson, 22, of Prince Frederick unlawfully entered motor vehicles and stole personal property. The estimated value of the stolen property was $30. Thompson was arrested and transported to the Calvert County Detention Center. He was charged with Rogue and Vagabond, Theft Less Than $100 From a Motor Vehicle, and Theft Less Than $100.
Theft: 26-63175
On July 23, 2026, DFC Mister responded to Gray Inn Court in Prince Frederick for a reported theft from a motor vehicle. Investigation revealed Marvin Charles Dickerson Jr., 42, of Prince Frederick, had entered the victim’s unlocked vehicle and stole approximately $15 in US Currency coins. Dickerson was located and deputies recovered a bag of loose change, which he admitted to stealing. Dickerson was placed under arrest and transported to the Calvert County Detention Center and charged with Theft Less Than $100 From a Motor Vehicle and Rogue and Vagabond.
