The Southern Maryland Blue Crabs today announced a complete new roster of exciting food options for the 2016 Season which begins Thursday, April 21.
The Fans Will Be Lovin’ It – McDonalds comes to the Ballpark!
In a first of its kind partnership with our local McDonald’s stores, various McDonald’s food items will be offered to fans at specialty games throughout the 2016 season. The popular food items will be delivered to your seats during each of these games, starting with Opening Night on April 21. Items that will be offered include Chicken Nuggets, Hamburgers, Cheeseburgers, and Sweet Tea. Fans will really be lovin’ it!
Now Introducing: Chickie’s & Pete’s
Chickie’s & Pete’s is one of Philadelphia’s premier informal dining establishments – Rated #1 Sports Bar in North America by ESPN! Fans won’t have to drive North to taste the flavor of Chickie’s & Pete’s this year as the coveted brand will be served right here at Regency Furniture Stadium. Known for their Crab Fries, Steak & Cheese, Chicken & Cheese, and Chicken and Buffalo Cutlets, a visit to this new stand located on the first base side of the concourse promises to be a very tasty belly buster!
Are You A Dessert Person – a Southern Maryland Favorite is now in the Stadium
Keeping with the Blue Crabs theme of “Homegrown,” the Blue Crabs are happily welcoming Spider Hall Farm, LLC of Prince Frederick as the official Ice Cream provider for all 70 home games. In addition to homemade ice cream, Spider Hall Farm will serve shakes, pints of ice cream, hot chocolate, and frozen hot chocolate. Craving ballpark ice cream on a non-game day? Spider Hall Farm, LLC and the Blue Crabs will be offering specials to Blue Crabs fans at their main location, a short drive away in Prince Frederick, when the team is on the road. Fans can bring their Blue Crabs ticket stub to the farm stand and will receive a free pint of ice cream with a $25 minimum purchase. Not an ice cream person? No worries. Fans can also cool down with ballpark favorites such as Dip and Dots and Minute Maid Frozen Lemonade.
Take A Visit To Nacho Grande Harbor
A visit to Nacho Grande Harbor on the third base side of the ballpark is definitely in order during the 2016 season. Fans can chow down on make-your-own nachos with all the fixings. Nacho Grande Harbor will feature single, double, and MVP size helmets of nachos.
All About The Kids
A new Kid’s Café will be located right next to Pinch’s Playground and will serve Cotton Candy, Homemade Cookies, Candy, Kid activity kits, and Lemonade Mocktails every Friday and Saturday night home games. Specifically for kids, Fruit Shoot Kid Juices will now be available in Berry Blast, Strawberry Raspberry, and Apple Juice.
You Talked, We Listened
Traditional ballpark favorites like Cheeseburgers, Chicken Sandwiches, Sausage Sandwiches, and Pulled Pork will still be available throughout the season – but in upgraded restaurant style presentations including Brioche Buns, lettuce and tomatoes and a side of Pickle Chips. Eat Food From Your Lap – No Longer!
In a first for Minor League Ballparks, the Blue Crabs will be providing complementary picnic tables on the concourse for fans on a first come, first served basis. Families will be able to have a “real dining experience” at the ballpark by utilizing these picnic tables overlooking the field.
Coors Light, Picnics, Music, and More – Every Wednesday!
Coors Light Can’Do Wednesday Picnic Parties will also be something that no adult fan will want to miss. There will be live music or a DJ every Wednesday game from 5:30pm until the fifth inning, featuring three dollar Coors Light cans and special food offerings in the picnic area.
“It’s all about making food fun again,” said Blue Crabs General Manager Courtney Knichel. “We hope that this season our new food offerings will make the Ballpark experience more enjoyable for fans of all ages.”
