“Most of what we do here is custom. Someone brings in a reference picture, and we build from that,” said Bobby, owner of Blue Scarab, in an interview with The BayNet. “It’s important to set aside time, so we can see what we’re working with, what’s involved in the design, and how much planning needs to go into it.”

“Just like clothing brands, inks come in different grades,” Bobby said. “Some brands have stood the test of time, and we use the ones that are known for longevity and vibrancy.”
