The Calvert County Board of Education is tentatively scheduled to meet at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, August 6, 2012, to ratify the 2012-13 negotiated agreement with the Calvert Education Association. The association is in the process of conducting a ratification vote on the tentative contract. If the contract is ratified by association members, the Board will meet on August 6 to sign the contract.
After the Open Session, the Board of Education will hold a Closed Session as permitted by the Maryland Open Meetings Act, Section 10-508(a)(1)(i) and (ii), (7), and (9) and Section 10-503 of the State Government Article of the Annotated Code of Maryland.
The meeting will be held at the Brooks Administrative Building, 1305 Dares Beach Road, Prince Frederick, Maryland.
