A link on the St. Mary’s County Government website, www.stmarysmd.com, provides live streaming video of traffic on the Thomas Johnson Bridge.
Click on the icon labeled “MD 4 Bridge Traffic Cam” on the Public Works and Transportation page (located under the Departments pull down box) or click on Traffic Camera under Government. The traffic cam was installed by the State Highway Administration and a link is provided on the St. Mary’s County Government website.
The camera captures a live view from the beginning of the bridge in St. Mary’s County proceeding north on Rte. 4. Stalled traffic could indicate a traffic tie up.
