On January 14, 2011 at 6:42 p.m., Sgt. J. S. Jones conducted a premise check on the boat ramp of Forrest Landing in Hollywood.
The property is that of St. Mary’s County and closed after dark. In the area, Sgt. Jones observed a 2003 Honda, occupied multiple times. Upon making contact with the occupants of the vehicle, Sgt. Jones detected the odor of burnt marijuana.
A probable cause search of the vehicle revealed a large quantity of CDS on the floor board in the rear of the vehicle. Two subjects, Kanyn Salvatore Allegra, 20 of Lusby and Kahnr Anthony Allegra, 19 of Lusby, were arrested for Possession of CDS.
Both subjects were transported to the St. Mary’s County Detention Center pending a bond review with the District Court Commissioner.
