On April 29 at 8:54 p.m., Charles County Sheriff’s officers responded to the 300 block of Garner Avenue in Waldorf for a breaking and entering in progress.
Investigation revealed the suspect entered the victim’s home through an unlocked door. When the victim walked in the house, the suspect fled. After providing a description of the suspect, officers canvassed the area and located him a short distance away.
William David Gordon, 26 of Waldorf, was arrested and charged with first-degree burglary, third-degree burglary and fourth-degree burglary. He was held on a $50,000 bond.
