LEONARDTOWN, Md. – Welcome to the world, baby Dante! Samantha Garner and Anthony Childers of Bushwood welcomed MedStar St. Mary’s Hospital’s first arrival of 2022. Dante Childers was born at 8:47 a.m. on Jan. 1 at MedStar St. Mary’s Hospital, weighing 8 pounds, 5 ounces, and measuring 22 inches long.
Amazingly, Dante is not the first New Year’s baby in the family—he now shares a birthday his grandfather, Stephen Garner, who is a past First Baby of the New Year himself! Congratulations to the growing family, and may this year be a bright and healthy one for all.
