PRINCE FREDERICK, Md. — Calvert County residents have a new reason to go green this year with the return of the “Spread Your Leaves” Native Tree Program. The program offers $50 off each native tree purchase, up to six trees per household, and runs through Nov. 20, 2025.
The program aims to promote environmental stewardship and the benefits of native trees, including improved air and water quality and support for local wildlife. Only Calvert County properties located outside the Critical Area are eligible. Residents can check their property’s eligibility and claim coupons at www.calvertcountymd.gov/TreeCoupon.

- Chesapeake’s Bounty – St. Leonard and North Beach
- Kelly’s Tree Services Inc. – Dunkirk
- Wentworth Nursery – Prince Frederick
- Bowensville Farm & Nursery – Online store
