PRINCE FREDERICK, Md. – April 12, 2017 – The Calvert County Department of Economic Development launched the 2017 Business Survey today and seeks input from county business owners. Data collected from the survey will be used to support local businesses, enhance the programs and services that are currently available and report trends to the Board of County Commissioners.

“This bi-annual survey helps us understand what is working for our businesses and what areas need improvement, and also assists us in identifying ways to further provide a supportive business climate,” explained Linda Vassallo, director of the Department of Economic Development. “It is geared toward giving us a broad view of the issues and helps us monitor trends and tailor business support programs. It is yet one more way we check in with our business owners and we encourage all to participate.”

The survey will take about 10 minutes and individual answers will remain confidential. Please visit www.ecalvert.com/survey to complete the survey. It will remain open through May 22. Overall results will be announced later in the year.
