Prince Frederick, MD – This year Calvert Hospice presents An Evening in the Vineyard to be held on August 10th at Running Hare Vineyard in Prince Frederick. With outdoor seating for over 400, a covered pavilion and beer garden, a bandstand with dance floor, and expanded parking areas, the venue offers the perfect setting for gathering with friends to have a great time while supporting a great cause. Guests will enjoy the casual atmosphere, focus on entertainment, and find numerous opportunities available to support Calvert Hospice.
While the theme and venue have changed for this outdoor event, the dress will be summer party casual as always. Guests can expect an incredible selection of innovative dishes created by Elegance by Maryland Country Caterers, an open bar including a selection of wine and beer from Running Hare Vineyard and Calvert Brewing Company, dynamic dance music by the 5-piece NightLife Band, and more! There will be a silent auction with items for every budget, including local artwork, jewelry, sports memorabilia, exciting trips, and other unique experiences.
Opportunities to sponsor Calvert Hospice programs through Fund a Need allow guests to contribute towards much-needed items such as oxygen for patients, equipment for pediatric patients, our children’s bereavement programs including Camp Phoenix, and more. It is a wonderful way to offer direct support to Calvert Hospice as well as patients in the community.
The cost per person is $125 in advance and $135 at the door. Tickets can be purchased through the organization’s website, calverthospice.org, starting July 1st. Be sure to buy your tickets early!
