Calvert County Public Schools released the following letter this morning:
Dear Parents and Guardians,
As you are aware, some of our bus drivers have made a decision to not transport students to and from school. We realize this places a hardship on parents regarding student attendance. It also creates a hardship on co-curricular and extra-curricular activities.
It is possible that this job action may extend up to 10 days. In an effort to support our students who may not be able to get to school, staff will allow any student in grades 3-12 who is absent to access each class through Microsoft TEAMs. Students can access the class TEAMs links through the Microsoft TEAMs calendar.
Students in grades Prek-2, who do not have transportation to school, can be provided a learning packet. If you have questions regarding access to a class or the learning packet, please contact your school office.
