The English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) Department of Calvert County Public Schools will host an International Night at Calvert High School on Wednesday, March 8 from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Admission is free for this family event.
The evening will begin with a fashion show featuring traditional dress representing the cultures of CCPS students, staff and community.
Displays will showcase students’ native countries and influential women of the world.
Activities are family oriented and will be led by students, staff and parents. Internationally themed stations include crafts, kids yoga, origami, henna tattoos and name writing in different alphabetic scripts. Musical groups from Calvert High will also perform.
