
Prince Frederick, MD – On Saturday, Oct. 8 at approximately 7:30 a.m., Deputy R. Evans responded to a suspicious vehicle occupied by one person on Abigail Court in Prince Frederick.ย
As Evans made contact with Brian Jessup, 27 of Prince Frederick, he observed a white powdery substance in plain view on the vehicle floorboard. Upon his investigation he determined Jessup was in possession of stolen jewelry, burglarโs tools, suspected heroin, suspected crack cocaine, Codeine, paraphernalia (digital scale) and hypodermic syringes with the intention of possessing and distributing a controlled dangerous substance (CDS).ย
Jessup was arrested and taken to the Calvert County Detention Center. He was charged with three counts of CDS possession not marijuana, two counts of possession of CDS paraphernalia, theft less than $100 and fourth-degree burglary.
According to information from District Court, Jessup remains in jail in lieu of $161,000 bail. He has a hearing on the charges tentatively set for Dec. 22 in District Court.
