WALDORF, Md. — A vehicle struck the side of a townhouse on Western Parkway near Holly Tree Lane on Wednesday night, Sept. 24, 2025, briefly trapping a homeowner and two children inside.

The crash happened around 8:30 p.m. when the car hit near the home’s front entry, sparking multiple 911 calls. First responders arrived within minutes, confirming the vehicle had not breached the residence and quickly established command.

EMS evaluated two people on the scene, including a 30-year-old pregnant woman who suffered what was described as an anxiety attack. She was taken to UM Charles Regional Medical Center for further care.

Fire officials later confirmed the impact caused no structural harm to joists or load-bearing walls and was limited to cosmetic damage.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
